Roger Qing was born in Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province. He is a renowned special effects makeup artist in China.
He is the founder of Muwenxi Special Effects Makeup and founded Hangzhou Muwenxi Image Design Co., Ltd. in 2015. He has been engaged in film and television special effects makeup as well as special effects makeup education. He has participated in the special effects makeup production for many leading film and television dramas and advertising projects, and has trained a large number of experienced special effects makeup artists. In 2020, he was invited to participate as a special effects makeup artist in Episode 1 of Season 4 of Zhejiang TV’s Keep Running. In 2022, he was invited as a guest on Hunan TV’s Day Day Up. He currently serves as a social practice mentor at Zhejiang University of Media and Communications, a member of the Hangzhou Qiantang District Women Entrepreneurs Association, Art Director of Hangzhou Yuxi Media Co., Ltd., Art Consultant of Hangzhou Langtu Brand Design Co., Ltd., Deputy Chairman of Jiaochong Design Group, and lecturer for the National Arts Fund Talent Training Funding Program.
